Amana® Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly

The SxS Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly is a replacement for your refrigerator's ice maker. If the coating on your ice maker tray is wearing out and falling into your ice, or if the ice maker is no longer producing ice, you'll need to replace this part. This ice maker is intended to fit compatible refrigerators with the ice maker in the door. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the refrigerator before installing this part.Helpful tip: If your old water line has a kink or starts to leak, it should be replaced. A water filter can also be added inline with the copper supply line to improve the quality of your ice.
